We are seeking a CX Manager to join the CIX (Consumer Insights and Experience Group) at Hoffman York. The ideal candidate has experience with the research and analytics component of user experience, along with the creative background to help execute strategy across brand experiences. The ideal candidate has minimum 8 years of experience and can contribute immediately.

  • A track record of entrepreneurial thinking and solutions-oriented disposition across UX and brand
  • Experience working closely with all levels of UX, collaborating cross functionally with creatives, media, and digital/development
  • Help establish the strategic direction for the team, with the Consumer Insights manager, in support of business objectives with data and insights to create a consistent consumer experience roadmap
  • Coach others and sometimes design wireframes to visually demonstrate functionality and interactivity of digital experiences
  • Provide clear UX and brand direction, as well as timely and prescriptive feedback to the team to improve the design process for the company as a whole
  • Challenge the team to think critically in solving problems and prioritize team projects via resource allocation
  • Identify opportunities for improvement with existing and new clients/projects and evangelize the value of consumer experience

  • Additional relevant work experience or Bachelor’s Degree in strategy, product or UX/CX experience
  • 8+ years of work experience relevant to user experience and brand strategy; agency experience is ideal
  • Proficiency with software intended for creating wireframes and prototypes. Experience with Sketch, Figma or Axure is a plus
  • Comfortable performing research and making recommendations with the CI (Consumer Insights) manager based on real data and past experiences
  • Must be organized, able to act independently, and able to juggle more than one project at a time
  • Ability to present and articulate ideas, openness to evolve opinions to challenge beliefs in a professional manner
  • The ideal candidate should be decisive and excited to lead their team forward. Someone who will never tire of pushing the work to be better

  • Intuitive and empathetic are key traits of this individual
  • Familiarity with visual design tools such as Sketch or Photoshop (generally just for editing or viewing purposes in this role) is a nice to have
  • Scans the horizon for emerging tools, skills, and techniques to ensure timely introduction of best practices
