Social Media Coordinator

We’re growing our team and looking for a savvy, speedy and intellectually curious individual with a fierce passion for social and an eagerness to work hard. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be given a wide range of social experience and responsibilities for a variety of consumer clients ranging from boating and grooming to travel and leisure. Day-to-day tasks include community management, content writing, paid social management, analytics and reporting, as well as coming up with and executing occasional off-the-wall stunts.

The Social Media Coordinator will assist in managing communities and campaigns across all social networks in a fast-paced environment with multiple national and international clients. You might:

  • Work with various teams to create original branded content for communities (cinemagraphs, gifs, live-streams, infographics, short videos)
  • Develop 360 and VR campaign plans for social distribution
  • Write social media copy for status posts, ads, contests and more
  • Create and maintain content calendars for social communities
  • Set up and manage a Facebook and/or Instagram Live broadcast
  • Interact with influencers and users to create and nurture social communities
  • Manage and report results of paid social ads using Facebook Ads Manager and other social ad buying platforms
  • Develop contests using tools such as Woobox
  • Use social management tools such as Sprout Social, Sked and Hootsuite
  • Utilize social analytics to generate insights and demonstrate social value

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field with a minimum of one to three years of relevant social media experience (agency experience is a plus). In addition, requires:

  • Social-media savvy, a powerful writer and clever thinker with an understanding of social media best practices, content development, measurement and listening
  • Well-spoken, well organized, detail-oriented and can operate with minimal supervision
  • Experience with platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics and social scheduling tools such as Sprout Social 
  • Understanding of the paid, owned and earned media space as it relates to social media execution
