Art Director

Hoffman York is searching for a full-time Art Director who’s conceptual, versatile, strategic, and collaborative. Someone who enjoys all manner of graphic design and creativity—from big, conceptual thinking and clever, strategic print executions to digital along with everything in between. Someone who’s comfortable working on everything from TV, websites, video editing, digital display or social. This art director needs to think big, delivers strategically and pays attention to the details. Responsible for the delivery of compelling ideas and concepts, present ideas internally and externally in a knowledgeable and passionate manner, ability to think of creative solutions above and beyond what is asked. Media Planner

Hoffman York is looking for a Media Planner to join Hoffman York’s upbeat, analytical-minded, and problem-solving media team. Your ability to collaborate with others to understand our clients’ challenges, foster ideas and turn insights into action will have an important impact on our clients’ successes.  The HY Media team works with brands including but not limited to Kohler, Brand Montana, Napoleon, Wahl Clippers, Wildeck, the University of Wisconsin Madison’s School of Business and the WI Economic Development Corporation.

As an HY Media Planner, you will lead the execution and stewardship of media campaigns to ensure they deliver on strategy, on budget and on time.

Candidates must have at least 2+ years of work experience activating paid media campaigns and experience planning media schedules. Experience should include working with multiple media types and formats. To succeed in media, team members must have an ability to quickly grasp new technology and demonstrate success organizing information. All media positions entail multi-tasking and managing multiple projects in tandem in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.

The Media Planner position will report directly to HY’s Associate Media Director(s) and either a Supervisor or Senior Planner. 

While creativity is exemplified in how we use numbers, research, and data to tell a story, HY media professionals are not responsible for creative development (design, production, copywriting) or PR.

This is a full-time position based in Milwaukee. As part of our Hybrid Remote Worker Policy, employees work in our office located in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward at least three days a week and have the flexibility to choose to work from a remote place of work two days a week.

Assistant Media Planner

The Assistant Media Planner position reports to Senior Media Planners, Supervisors and/or Directors in the HY Media department.

Senior Media Planner

As an HY Senior Media Planner, you will also lead the execution and stewardship of media campaigns to ensure they deliver on strategy, on budget and on time. You’ll also be one step ahead, thinking of great questions to ask other HYers and our clients to help our media campaigns integrate well with other facets of the marketing program.

Candidates must have around five years of work experience in the field of advertising or marketing and the ability to work in Media with minimal supervision. Senior Media Planners have several years of experience activating media campaigns with paid investments in multiple digital and offline media types and a history delivering successful campaigns. To succeed in media, team members must have an ability to quickly grasp new technology and demonstrate success organizing information. All media positions entail multi-tasking and managing multiple projects in tandem in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.

The Senior Media Planner position will report directly to HY’s Associate Media Director(s) and will have the support of Assistant Media Planners and Media Interns.

Lead Content Writer

We’re growing our team and looking for a savvy, speedy and intellectually curious individual with a fierce passion for writing and an eagerness to work hard. As a Lead Content Writer, you will be given a wide range of writing assignments and responsibilities for a variety of consumer clients ranging from boating and grooming to travel and wellness.  

Day-to-day tasks include leading a team of writers, providing thoughtful feedback to these writers, writing thought leadership articles, social media campaigns and content calendars, video scripts, internal communications and more.  Other duties include proofreading, promoting content through organic social and email marketing, reporting on article performance and optimizing for future content. Oh, and occasionally coming up with a few off-the-wall stunts.
