This person will develop high-velocity social and web creative for our agency and clients. Assignments in this exciting role will range from managing photo and video shoots to editing videos and designing social media graphics, app pages, contest visuals, infographics, GIFs and cinemagraphs. This person will have good design fundamentals and strong sensitivity to design through typography, color, composition and brand identity as well as experience with video editing, illustration, motion graphics and stop-motion animation. Seeking a PR Senior Account Executive with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, and 6-7 years of industry experience. Applicants should have proven success in a variety of PR campaign executions, having had a part in every process from brainstorming meetings to recap reports. We’re looking for a strategic storyteller who knows what will pique the media’s interest, as well as what fits within larger integrated marketing goals. Captivating writing skills is a must, as is excellent proactive and reactive media relations know-how. Client work can vary from travel, to men’s interest to pets, so curiosity and the ability to understand new categories is crucial. Main responsibilities will include helping with the development of and managing the execution of campaigns, including drafting plans, writing press materials and pitches, giving input on creative assets, and supervising entry level staff. At HY, our media team uses research and data to target audiences, to recommend media that connects brands to customers throughout their decision journey and to set key performance indicators for success. Assistant Media Planners have a foundational understanding of media; therefore, can think ahead to the next step in the advertising process. Media team members are responsible for recommending media plans that are backed with supportive research and data and activating media buys that are on strategy, on budget and on time. The team is relied on by the agency and our clients to measure results and find new ways to optimize campaigns. This position reports to the Media Supervisors/Directors and assists Media Planners and Specialists while collaborating with other agency departments. While creativity is exemplified in how we use research and data to tell a story, HY media professionals are not responsible for the copywriting, design or production of the various creative assets handled by our creative department or public relations handled by our PR department.
