Don’t Have Super Bowl Ad Money? Do What We Did.

Okay, so you don’t have $5 million to spend on a 30-second ad during the world’s biggest televised event of the year. Few brands do, but that doesn’t mean you have be left out in the cold on all the hoopla. In fact, we just proved it.

For our client Wahl, we partnered with Philadelphia running back and former rushing leader DeMarco Murray on a media tour in San Francisco, the site of this year’s big game. In a two-hour span, we did 10+ interviews with high-profile media that included SportsCenter on ESPN, NFL Network, CBS and Fox Sports Radio and more. We also had Murray live-stream on Facebook from Radio Row.

Why Murray? After a tough season that ended in a coaching change, what he really needed was a fresh start. Thanks to Wahl, he got it. As you can imagine by the photo, Murray’s newly grown “Wahl-sponsored” beard was the talk of the town.
