Awareness Campaign

ALS is a ruthless disease. It’s always fatal and most who are diagnosed compare the symptoms with being “body dead” rather than “brain dead.” Hoffman York worked with Emmy-winning actor Courtney B. Vance to get this point across to raise awareness of ALS.

Courtney is also a dear friend of Oscar-nominated director Stacy Title, herself an ALS patient. Not one to let herself be identified by her diagnosis, Stacy refuses to give-up on her occupation as a Hollywood director. And to demonstrate this, she directed a spot that she was also featured in.
